Coyote The choice of fkmericanism as the theme for the 1941 COYOTE marked the enthusiastic beginning of a year's diligent and persistent work by editors, sponsors, and staff members to produce a yearbook which, it is believed, will not soon be forgotten. The untiring energy and patience of the Coyote sponsors deserve first recognition, for, doubtless, the 1941 Coyote would not be a reality had their experience and judgment not been exercised and their plans executed. Miss Ida Jane Collins acted as literary sponsor, Miss Lois McGaughy, art and layout supervisor, while Mr. Orren T. Freeman and Mr. Gambill Sullivan negotiated with the printers and worked out the Finances connected with the publication and sale of the yearbook One of the most responsible positions on the staff was that given to Zona Ruth Warman, organization editor. l-ler duties consisted Q of planning the class section and of check- ing and re-checking all material which was turned in. Organization Zona Ruth Warman feature and Clubs Barbara Keenan Because of the many organizations involved and the large groups of students and teachers to be inter- viewed, the work of the club and feature section is very important. Barbara Keenan Filled the position of clubs and feature editor well. Busmess Workmg Sta To break the monotony of the usual type of feature page, dif ferent themes were used as bases for these pages. Pic- tures carrying out various themes were used, thus originated the jubilee pages, stadium scenes, assembly, and others.
