Grammar is the chief study in sophomore English: junior English takes up both grammar and literature. Senior English deals mostly with classic literature. Senior students having the ability to write may, upon the recommendation of their English teachers, substitute journalism for the regular English course. The journalism class has charge of the school newspaper, the Coyote News.
