' VOCAL MUSIC l Vocal Department Celebrates Successful Year The vocal department at Wichita County High School had a very successful year. Robed Choir, as well as Girl's Glee received a I rating at the State Music Fes- x tival at Dodge City! Robed Choir also re- ceived a I in sight reading for the 3rd time There were 65 in Robed Choir, all chosen by Mr. Gale on basis of ability. There were 57 in Boy's Glee and 95 in Girl's Glee. Mixed Chorus had 118 this year. N The Vocal music deparunent was featured in Fall, Xmas, and Spring Concerts. The department ended this year with the Robed Choir singing for Baccalaureate. Again this year, Chorves maintained l their superior level of performance by re- ceiving a I at State. This was the fourth year for the group with the last of the orig- i inal group leaving us--Peggy Siemens and Steve Gwin. This year's theme was Peo- ple and Mike Carlisle acted as MC.
