Vo-Ag Members Honored AT Annual FFA Bonquef FFA OFFICERS: Duane Holstein, Sentinel, Max Edwards, Reporter, Bob Wiles, Treasurer, Dale Naiman, President, Dave Spradling, Vice-President, joe Zellner, Secretary, Mr. Hamilton, Advisor. D. Naiman presents FFA Sweetheart, Bernice Buck, with bouquet of roses. D. Naiman presents plaques to Hon, Farmers, Earnest Naiman and Earl Wiles. The annual FFA Banquet was held May 4 in the gym- nasium. The banquet, consisting of baked steak with all the trim- mings, was attended by all FFA members and their parents, as well as faculty and board members. After the meal Mr. Hamilton honored many FFA mem- bers with FFA pins and various other awards. Perhaps the highlight of the evening was the crowning of the FFA Sweetheart for 1965 -Miss Bernice Buck. A Dale Naiman was president of FFA as well as Star Dist. Farmer and recipient of the Dist. 47 FFA Found ation awards.

KAYS AND KAYETTES SPCNSOR MANY SOCIAL EVENTS Mr. Icicle, Dale Naiman, and Miss Popsicle, Diana Cooley. The Kayettes were kept busy this year trying to keep the social calendar full at all times. Some of the events under their sponsor- ship included the annual Snowball in connection with the crowning of Mr. Icicle and Miss Popsicle, a Halloween dance, a Crazy Hat dance, and the crowning of Ray Bribiesca as Mr. Irresistible. The Kays, since they were newly organized the second semes- ter, sponsored only Sadie Hawkins Day during the annual Twirp Week and the crowning of Lynn Cable as Miss Irresistible. D. Gardner and P. Siemens were crowned king and queen goblins at the Hallowgen dance.
