As the number of traffic accidents continues to mount, the driver educa- tion program instructs the student in proper driving procedures . A Well educated driver has the potential to be a good driver. Freshman boys study the human body in Mr. Du1It0n'S health class. Mr. Williams explains the parts of the engine to freshman driVer's education students.

Mr. Holmes discusses general science with his students. Microcosm And Macrocosm Interests Students The natural science program includes general science, biology, physics and chemistry. The principles upon which all physical and mechanical processes of the universe are based come under careful scrutiny in the science lab and classroom. An appreciation of the processes of the universe are stimulated in the inquiring mind. Dept. Instructors: Mrs. Hamilton, Mr. Holmes, and Mr. Williams SCIENCE T. Turner and D. The commer- cial department specializes in courses designed to aid the budding secretary, accountant, or business aid. Under the direction of Mr. Fisher, students may take courses in short- hand, bookkeeping and typing. COMMERCE Shorthand students transcribe letter dictated by Mr. Fisher.
