Oor America grew into its place in the world because many young people possessed ima- gination, determination, and the ability to get things done. You seniors are Whittier High ' s largest graduating class. Some of you already see the job ahead, others have charted the course for action, but all of you face the same ques- tions and the ever present challenge to find success in what you are doing. Many of you will lead; many more of you will be content to have the path selected for you. Your interest in keeping in touch with your classmates, your desire to find happiness, your working toward common goals, all seem to echo the traditional pioneer cry which was used to build our Western fron- tier, Goin ' my way?
