Every man of us has all of fhe centuries !n him. Gladstone ' s philosophy seems to sum up neatly the objec- tives of our American schools. It Is true that we are never one moment away from the products and progress of man ' s struggle to better himself. Hundreds of years of thought and research are reflected within our experiences and learning at school. Time teaches us to sift out that which is helpful and good from that which is not. Time teaches us to profit from the wisdom of our forefathers. The years spent here at Whittier High School will stay a lifetime with you.
