To Miss Lillian Wolin FOR HER YEARS OF SERVICE to Whittier High School and its ideals as an earnest, modest and ex- ceient teacher of the Mathematics Department. With her willingness to offer her time and talents, she has been an inspiration to her students and fellow- teachers alike. FOR HER CONSTANT INTEREST in the progress and welfare of each one of her many pupils. Always patient, always eager to explain a problem for the umpteenth time, she has earned the admiration and friendship of every student who has had the privi- lege of being in one of her classes. FOR HER DEDICATION TO DUTY during nearly thirty years as an outstanding teacher beloved and respected by all, the Annual Staff, representing the students of Whittier High, dedicates the 1954 Car- dinal, a symbol of our appreciation, to Miss Lillian Wolin.
