IN RETROSPECT . . . of the 46 classes of seniors who have come, seen, and conquered Whittier Union High School, of all the iuniors-who have finally made the grade, of the sophomores, rich with their new sense of belonging, and of all the green, frightened freshmen. The years have passed, the fads are different, but remnants of former years still remain with us. The seniors still sponsor Senior-Alumni Day, the juniors still hold the annual Junior-Senior Promenade, and the freshmen and sophomores have their dance and party. Even if some of our events were the same, if the past year seemed no different from the rest, to us it was changed, for WE were the ones to enjoy the year '46-'47 . . . it belonged to us . . . it was our year!
