Dr. Kroener has the background and experi- ence needed to lead in our school work and with his exemplary ' l personal qualities has brought to the school an outstanding type o leadership, Mr. Charles E, Cooper has served on the Board longer than any other member and has contributed very generously to the welfare t th h ol During Mr Coopers twelve years ot service, he was o e sc o . . elected president tor three successive years and during that time his i II . d capable leadership helped the school to maintain an exco ent recor in every department. Mrs. Mariorie l.. McGregor was elected to the Board in I933 and has served all three years very efticiently as Clerk, She has brought to her osition the outstanding characteristics ot loyalty, coopera- P tion and tairness to everyone. Mrs. McGregor is never too busy to ' A h B d. graciously tultill her many duties as ofticial clerk ott e oar Mr. Harlan A, Cate, prominent landholder trom Pico, has also served on the Board tour years with extensive experience in county ' A b'I'r h s been aftairs and tlood control work. Mr. Cates business a ii y a much appreciated He has served on the important building very . committee during the past year and has given a great amount of time in solving school problems. The most recent member of the Board, Mr. Oscar O, Marshburn ' m l tin his third year and tor the past year has held the is co pe g . position ot Vice-President. His thoughttulness and consideration tor ' d others have won tor him an enviable place among students an t h r. Mr. Marshburn has also made an unusual contribution by eac e s his counsel on the many insurance questions which contront tho district. Wh'le Dr. Kroener and Mr. Coopers terms of ottice run until July I lst, both have decided not to be candidates tor reelection. This decision on their part has met with universal regret and the students and teachers are unanimous in expressing their great appreciation tor the devoted service which both ot these trustees have given. ' C However, while everyone regrets that Dr. Kroener and Mr. ooper r leaving the Board they are pleased to know that the three a e . remaining board members are eminently qualitied to continue the important work ot our Board.
