FALL VLRIETY STU? On Tuesday, Fevember 20, 1951, at eight o'clock, the 'hittior F. T. '.,Wrriety Program was given in the Vhittier -uditorium. nnnouncors were Delores Holloway and Donald Dean, First on the PTQGram.wfs the Ahittier Band under the direction of hr. Lyle Volch. They played a number of folk tunes. Carol Fields in a beautiful pink satin costume, tap danced to 'Tea for Two.h L dance followed hVinter Fantasyh by Qenia hartman, There was a skit by Jake Leim and Darlene farrell and impersonatiens by Miss luth Jackman. These were of great entertainment to the audience, ihirley Ueiler played selec- tions ,on the accordian and Dottie hitchey sang a beautiful song, hieg O' Ty Heart,t She was accompanied by hrs. Jennie narper. A solo, nn Perfect Daynwas sung by Gregg Dehitt and was accompanied by Jake Keim, - Last scene was a nice play called 'The fishing Helly by l l the Ninth Prado wirls loo under the direction of led Thomp- son. gll in all a Very splendid program, H N, 1-yr-.N rAJCiuil1 CKHISTYQQ F The Christmas Pregranthis year was given December Zlst. The program opened with the band playing, lOh Come All Ye Faithful' while the Girls Olee walked in singing and car- rying candles. The Girls Glee then stood on risers and sang many Christmas carols. They were helped by the Eighth Grade Girls Choris. The soloists of the program were, Feverly frown, of the ninti grade, Margaret Goeman and .anda Letner, of the eighth grqdo, I Vetween numbers there was a elairnet quartet which was made up of fo r pupils, vicky bmith, Jerry Jacoby, hoger Miller and nobcrt Knox. , INSTALLATICN OF OFFICERS On February Sth, we had err assembly for the installa- tion of Civic League officers for the second semester.
