Working in connection with the Board of Trustees, he figures the annual budget and is responsible for its execution. PUBLIC RELATl0NSf-The News Bureau distributes over 500 news releases each year on campus events to the press, radio and television. This office is also over all student publications and journalism instruction. ART DEPARTMENT - Serving as a pre-pro- fessional study, the Art Department offers the interested student courses designed to develop his creative ability and aesthetic awareness. Emphasis is also placed on guiding the student's understanding of art's relation to the culture in which it is produced. Studies in sculpture, ceramics, painting, and architecture may be pursued by the imaginative student.
