, I , 445351 NHITTIER CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL 867 South College Avenue, Whittier, California Phone OX 3-3600 Anticipation is that mystical treasure which lies at the end of every pathway of life. For the Christian, the things that God hath prepared for them that love Him constitute the fruition of our highest eternal anticipation. It is only in lesser degree that we anticipate His blessing in life. For those involved in the Lord's work at Whittier Christian High School, in this, its 9th year, anticipation has been high. We have seen God's blessing in full measure and have experienced His wonderful provision in the pathway we have trod together. Enrollment this year was the highest in our history: a new office and reception room sharpened up our image and our efficiency: the library has expanded into its own quarters: a shaded eating area and new picnic tables enhanced the noon hour activitiesg new vending machines dispensing food and drink proved to be a welcomed additionp a Homecoming Queen was crowned for the first timeg an Alumni Association was borng the first Alumni basketball team won a close one over the Herald varsityg Officers Retreat . . . student court . . . a chapter of the California Scholarship Federation formed . . . all these and more were the fruition of much anticipation in 1966-67. And now the pathway ahead . . . Seniors, you leave with our prayers. Each of us who has had the privilege of knowing you pray that the words of Proverbs 4:11 have been true of us: I have taught thee in the way of wisdomg I have led thee in right paths. Underclassmen, we look forward to your return that together we might be led in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Pat ,Murphy Zrailguidc During the course of our high school years, we as students meet many achieve- ments and failures. This year working on the student council has helped teach us, as council members, to accept both. Student government is a very difficult position to handle because it demands much work and understanding. As president, I wish to thank each mem- ber of the council for the effort they put forth in doing an outstanding job in their respective positions.
