.....mu..t .. ,. . . n tr.-. On the opening day of school, nineteen proud Juniors entered the halls of Whittemore High School to receive their long awaited class rings. After the daily routine got in full swing, the following officers were elected: Ellen Maahs-President, Lorraine Butzke-Vice-President, Ann Vaudt-Secretary, Marjorie Behnke-Treasurer, Janice Balgeman-Student Council, With Mrs. Riedinger and Mr. Conrad as our class sponsors. On the night-of October ninth, we held a skating party for the Freshmen. The following day the freshmen were iniated. We had them dressed in funny costumes and enjoyed putting them through their stunts. We also pro- vided them with a long complicated speech to say to both upper grades. We hope that they enjoyed themselves Our class is well represented in basketball, baseball, softball, band, and mixed chorus. We also have two mem- bers participating in cheerleading. We had fun putting on our Junior-Senior Banquet and we hope that everyone enjoyed themselves.
