Dedication Mrs. Gladys Piech The Whitney Point Central School District is fortunate in having Mrs. Gladys Piech as a member of its professional teaching staff. Mrs. Piech presently instructs physical education in the elementary grades. Born and raised in the Whitney Point area, Mrs. Piech received her degree and teaching credentials from Cortland State. She has spent most of her teaching career in the Whitney Point school dis- trict. Our school system rightly prides itself in our strong physical education program of which Mrs. Piech has been instrumental in developing. Retiree Mrs. Iva Colgan Mrs. Iva Colgan retired this year after many fine years of serving as a school secretary. Too often we fail to appreciate the dedicated efforts of school personel who play a vital role in the efficient op- eration of the system. Every student, every teacher, and every ad- ministrator will surely miss Mrs. Colgan and her unselfish loyalty to the school system. On behalf of everyone associated with the school district, we wish Mrs. Colgan a healthy and happy retire- ment. 6
