'l YPE Becky and Russell enjoy a romantic walk while in Austin. This was a very exciting year for the Speech and Drama Club. They sold GooGoo bars again and hosted a speech tournament. Those teams competing were: Grandview, Hillsboro, Blooming Grove, Crawford, Clifton and Glen Rose, with Lorena coming out on top. Mr. Thiele advised a large number of students for UIL events. Two students advanced to Regional in Stephenville. Russell Lyday advanced in persuasive speaking and Dale Bailey advanced in the informative speaking category.
