Page Edltor Eva Lampson V J H 1 The junior high officers are chosen once a year and server as decision-makers as well as leaders for their class. An officer must maintain a passing average in all academics and an A average in citizenship. This year the officers for the eighth grade are to the lefti seventh grade, below, sixth grade, middle left. Student Council Requires Top Grades , Among the activities sponsored by the Junior High Student Council was the writing of a constitution. Second, they sponsored a candy sale. The money went toward buying a film projector and providing funds for drillteam, one-act play, cheerleaders and other junior high activities. , Third, they had a group of first graders from Hillsboro to come and sing Christmas carols with them and other junior high students. The student council also help people in the community. They took up a collection of canned food and fruits. Last but not least they sponsored an assembly in whichia ventriloquist was the entertainment. f Members for the next year are elected each spring.
