Row 3: Russell Lyday, Jerry lnce, Kirk Curry, Lance Reader, Dale Bailey, Troy Dalrymple, Belinda Booth. This year the OAP cast presented The Near Sighted Knight and the Far Sighted Dragon. The play is about a princess who is trying to rescue her father from a mean duchess. Along the way to the castle to save her father, she meets up with a near sighted knight. As they journey on toward the castle, they encounter a far sighted dragon. They are all captured by the duchess' guard and thrown into the dungeon. The dragon melts the bars in the dungeon and frees the king and princess, and they all live happily ever after. At district competition in Corsicana Jeff Landon and Kirk Curry both received honorable mentions on the All-Star Cast. The knight asks the princess for her hand. The dragon, knight, and King pass the time in the dungeon by playing cards. The duchess reprimands the guard as Wilfred laughingly observes. Page editor - Becky Wilkins
