Fight! Win! These are the words that often reverberate through the stadium and echo in the halls throughout the year, due to the time and effort of Whitmer ' s spirited cheerleaders. Their leadership dur- ing the various sports ' seasons holds up Whitmer Pride in support of our teams. The varsity cheerleaders work long hours perfecting new cheers, making the hoop and decorating the stadium locker room before each game. By going to different camps and clinics during the summer, the girls share ideas with girls from other schools and gain new ones. Cheryl Swindle, Liz Clark, Sue Dudderar, and Pam Bucher made up the reserve squad this year. These girls cheered with the varsity squad at the Homecoming game and at the Central game. The girls also helped the varsity to sell Homecoming mums . All of the underclass cheerleaders worked during the summer at various new cheers, and when school began, they practiced diligently to bring their classes closer together. Below: Liz Clark.
