All phases of school life lend themselves to helping a person become more than a six digit number on a card with holes in it. ln all aspects of school activities every sportsman, actor, musician, debater, leader, and worker is an artist in his own right. Each has had to put a certain amount of determination, time, sweat, and energy-a certain amount of himself-to get where he is and where he wants to go. No matter how we work as a team, assemble as a group, or are said to be a unit, each and every Whitmer High School student is an individual. Each is a uniquely separate, copyrighted personality unable to be dittoed off in a machine and unwilling to become a statistic in anyone's book.
