6-7 Tim and Terry are the spirit of Whit- mer and the theme of our book. In fact, from their beanies to their sloppy shoes they are just you, you, and especially you. It's their shouts we hear at 31005 their groans at 8:50. It's their cheers that spur the teams to victoryg their pat- ter and chatter that ring through the hallsg their seriousness that fills the classrooms. Tim and Terry with their love of mer- riment, echo and re-echo the jive of Fri- day dances. They gobble sandwiches in the cafeteria and aim their papers at the baskets. They beam with pride as the curtain falls, the audience roars, and an- other Wlmitiiier drama scores success. Wlitm with a fun-loving heart could help but love Tim and Terry! Tim and Terry join clubs, put over parties, and influence others to back worthy causes. Sports? just look at that trophy case! Yet, with all this they still have time for study, proven by scholar- ships and awards won by good minds and hard work. To some people Tim and Terry may be just a couple of students, but to us who know and understand them they are our closest friends. Here within these pages we have tried to capture just a fraction of their living spirit that you too may share their enthusiasm.
