Creative Program About sixty creative prizes have been awarded throughout the year for creative work in the three rooms in the school. The prize winning creative work which have been awarded the prizes are on display in the geography room, with outstanding work of former students. O To AO A P. T. A. group in the Whitman community was organized in December of 1952. In January of 1953 a fund raising cam- paign, through the ways and means committee, raised a 5880. 00 purse for the benefit of the school and community. A detail study project, including surveys of the community, was carried through on the subject of redistricting. In February, 1953, the P. T. A. charter was granted to this newly-formed organization. The elected officers are as follows: Anita Jones .................. President Dale Dyer .... . . Vice President Gail Blmner ........ , ......... Secretary Walter Eberly ............... Treasurer Committees chosen are: Emily Sparks, Lila Wright, Gail Bunner, Program committee.
