ORTHEASTERN NIVERSITY College of Liberal Arts Offers for young men a broad program of college subjects serving as a foundation for the under- standing of modern culture, social relations, and technical achievement. Students may concen- trate in any of the following fields: Biology, Chemistry, Economics, Sociology, Psychology, Mathematics, Physics, and English lincluding an option in Journalismj. Pre-Medical, Pre-Dental and Pre-Legal courses are offered. Varied oppor- College of Engineering Offers for young men curricula in Civil, Mechan- ical fwith Air-Conditioning, and .Aeronautical optionsl, Electrical, Chemical, and Industrial Engineering. Classroom study is supplemented by experiment and research in well-equipped laboratories. Degree: Bachelor of Science in School of Law School of Business tunities available for vocational specialization. Degree: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts. the professional Held of Specialization' College of Business Administration Offers for young men the following curricula: Accounting, Marketing and Advertising, and Industrial Administration. Each curriculum provides a sound training in the fundamentals of business practice and culminates in special courses devoted to the various professional fields. Degree: Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Offers three-year day and four-year evening un- dergraduate programs leading to the degree of Bachelor of Laws. A minimum of one-half of the work accepted for a bachelor's degree in an approved college or its full equivalent required for admission to undergraduate programs. Case method of instruction. The School also offers a two-year evening pro- gram open to graduates of approved law schools and leading to the degree of Master of Laws. Undergraduate and graduate programs admit men and women. Offers curricula through evening classes in Ac- counting, Industrial Management, Distributive Management, and Engineering and Business, leading to the degree of Bachelor of Business Administration in specified fields. Preparation for C. P. A. Examinations. A special four.year curriculum in Law and Business Management leading to the Bachelor of Commercial Science degree with appropriate specification is also of- fered. Shorter programs may be arranged. Co-educational. . Evening Courses of the College of Liberal Arts Certain courses of the College of Liberal Arts are offered during evening hours affording concentration in Economics, English, History and Govern- ment or Social Science. A special program preparing for admission to the School of Law is also available. The program is equivalent in hours to one- half the requirement for the A. B. or S. B. degree. Associate in Arts title conferred. Co-educational. Co-operative Plan The Colleges of Liberal Arts, Engineering and Business Administration offer day programs for men only, and are conducted on the co-operative plan. After the freshman year, students may alternate their periods of study with periods of work in the employ of business or industrial concerns at ten-week intervals. Under this plan they gain valuable experience and earn a large part of their college expenses.
