Mrs. Buckley, Principal TO THE CLASS OF 85: I want to send you on your way rejoicing! - with joy that one phase of your life is ending and the other is beginning. Your 4 years at Whitman-Hanson are coming to an end and you are about to enter the world Some of you will go to college and some of you will step directly into the mainstream. In the end, you will all face the same hurdles and challenges. As graduates you are going out into a world that desperately needs you. lt's the same old world it always has been - tired, confused, and bursting at the seams, but it's still a wonderful place to be. So, now it will be your vision, your understanding, and your interpretation that may End new ways and new hope. The little changes make the big difference. My best wish for each ofyou is that you make the most ofyour opportunities so that we at Whitman-Hanson will look with pride atyour accomplishments and be able to say that we had a hand in shaping the life of someone who truly made a difference . ADMINISTRATION Dear Members of the Class of 1985: Congratulations upon your graduation from Whitman-Hanson Regional High School. t I am sure that there were more than a few times during your high school days when you felt that school would never end. For as far as you could see there was nothing but classes, assign- ments, homework, tests, and grades to be concerned about. Well, as you can see now, those days are in the past. You are a graduate. Four short years ago, you came to Whitman-Hanson for an education - to acquire a base of useful knowledge, learning skills, values, and attitudes that will serve you and your family through- out your lifetime. This year, you lea ve the highschool, hopefully with this education and the desire to learn more - much more - Hrmly in place. l have enjoyed your exuberance, your vitality, your laughter, your optimism, and your commitment and pride in our high school.
