O CI' 4: - 4 nf? fg 19' QB Wanted: A group of mature, responsible, well-educated, psychologically stable adults to staff a high school. The ability to handle ones self in situations of crisis, as well as the ability to help adolescents adjust to new situations, is absolutely necessary. A specialty in one or more academic areas is mandatory. A most important requirement is that of an eloquent speaking mannerism fused in con- frontation with irate parents and out-spoken studentsl. Combat experience is optional. This of course may apply to the faculty of Whitman-Hanson. As the senior class of 81 departs the hallowed halls of W-H for the final time, the staff should realize that they have turned upon the unsuspecting world, the product of their craft. CNo, Mr. Resnick, they can't prosecute you for thatl. It is with the greatest of respect the students of W-H, and especially the seniors, say, thank you . Without the variety of per- sonalities which inhabit these hallow- ed halls, Whitman-Hanson would be a very dull place. It is the challenge of getting along for not getting alongl with these multitudinous characters which makes things exciting. Where would the teachers be without the class clown or the kid sleeping in the third row? What would the freshmen do without the upperclassmen to hound them? Everyone needs a challenge now and again! As one wanders through the hallways of W-H, the most obvious type of personality is that of a senior. That kid waltzing down the hall like he owns the place, slamming freshmen's lockers closed while they attempt to rescue their books, is the beloved upperclassman of this il- lustrious institution. He is what such Freshmen or Sophomores will some- day become. Don't laughg in one, or two, or three years, look at yourself and your friends strutting down the halls, hassling the underclassmen and then you'll know . . .you're a Senior!!! rv ., ' PAGE EIGHTY-ONE 81 PAGE EIGHTY-TWO Robin Adams 122 School St., Whitman . . .
