STUDENTS GAIN RECOGNITION FOR Bausch and Lomb Science Award winner is B. Stephens. Each year, several students are given awards for scholastic achievement. The recipients are rewarded for their outstanding effort and academic achievements. Teachers voted on students that they felt showed leadership qualities to represent Whiting at Boys’ Sophomore Scholarship W winners (l-r): T. Fritz. B. and Girls' State. Other awards earned this year included the Daughters of the American Revolution Award, the Bausch and Lomb science award, and Scholarship W”s were also awarded to those students receiving an 'A or a ”B'' for all semester grades. Ulm was M.V.F. for girls’ basketball and also received M.V.P. s for wrestling, basketball, and cross country All-Conference honors. 14 C. Klein was co-M.V.P. for football. S. Rokosz and K. Linko are Co-M.V.P.'s for volleyball. The latter was also voted All-Conference.
