STATISTICALLY SPEAKING Behind every game, match, or meet there is always someone taking statistics. At Whiting, these girls are called “Stat Girls” or “Mat Maids”. These girls always find time to make it to every sporting event to keep stats for the coaches. Many people appreciate these statistics, especially the players, so they will know what they did during the game. Although it looks easy, it ' s a tough job. Baseball and Cross Country stat girls are: J. Fritz, A. Obermiller, K. Shebish. Frosh basketball stats are: J. Justak. M. Fitzpa- trick Absent: K. Saksa.
