DEDICATION Music speaks one language which all people can understand and here in Park Rapids High, our band has done much to bind our hearts together in the heat of some basketball game or soothed our nerves with the rhythmic strains of an overture. Our band, under the capable direction of Don Hagen, has filled a much needed spot in our extracurricular life. In his four years at Park Rapids, Mr. Hagen has developed a splendid band which has become the pride and joy of both the school and community. Under his discerning eye and patient leadership, our band has been built up to an outstanding unit of eighty young musicians whose performances have been singled out by band critics as excel- lent and most commendable. To this outstanding teacher and director of band and choir who has so diligently worked for the progress of our music activities, we, the Annual Staff of Park Rapids High School, are proud and happy to dedicate our Panther of 1960. 3
