THESPIANS The purpose of the WHS Troop 856 of the National Thespian Society is to promote student interest in the dramatic arts. One may gain admittance into this organization after earning the required number of points. The group, sponsored by Mr. lames Ulrich, gave an all-school dance and presented two all- school plays. In Latin they are ALTOIRA PETIMUS. To better understand the prac- tical and cultural value of Latin is the purpose on which the club was founded. Miss Elizabeth Matson, sponsor of the group, helps make the meetings more interesting by including short skits of important incidents in the Roman era. In the club are two groups.
