' VOLLEYBALL The Volleyball team of 1956-57 won first place in the County Interschol- astic League Meet, without having lost a game to any team in the Gounty They participated in the District Meet at Lubbock where they lost out in the semi flnal game The girls did not enter any tourn aments this year and did not play many matched games The team was one of the best in thls district In prevlous years the volleyball team has gained much recognitlon through out the Plains Having one to the Reglonal MeetCTri State for two years They won the meet in 1956 Many tournaments were von and many trophies brought heme The eam won the tournament UlVbH at lhlthdrrxl also mr LulllDB hxs been the volleyball coach for the la t three yeals and has proved that he know what lt is all about by the teams that he has tralned. , U U 1 .. w , - .. -, .
