LIBRARIANS FRONT ROW: T. Brauner, M. K. West, L. Nemec, P. Moulton, Mrs. Gaiennie. SECOND ROW: D. Will, C. Podmaniczky, S. Vosburgh, L. Roos. A new arrangement of shelving the books was introduced in the school library this year and has been carried on by Mr. Gaiennie. Each student was assigned one or two tiers for the school year by Mr. Derrickson and was res- ponsible for keeping them in order by checking them daily. The improvements made last year in the library, including the in- stallation of the carpeting have proved effective this year. The addition of many new books to our library has improved the wide selection of books available to the student body. We are grateful to Mr. Derrickson, who has continued his policies of contributing books to the library from those he reviews from the ST. LOUIS GLOBE-DEMOCRAT and of printing library information sheets for distribution among the students.

LETTERMEN'S CLUB FIRST ROW: J. Lewin, R. Carlson, T. Green. SECOND ROW: C. Podmaniczky, D. Will, E. Becker, J. Dickler. ABSENT: R. Dalton, C. Engler. This year was the first full year for the Lettermen's Club, and it looks as if it is here to stay. The club was guided through the year by Rusty Carlson, presidentg Todd Green, vice- presidentg and Curt Engler, secretary-treasurer. The purpose of the club is to boost school spirit. Dur- ing the past year pre-game pep rallies, arranged with the help of the directors, were the principal means of ac- complishing this. At the end of the soccer season new members of the club were voted in by the members at large, and a party was given at Todd Green's house. Early in the year the club backed the canned food drive, each member collecting about fifty cans. The present members hope that the club will flourish and grow and create a tradition of spirit and sportsmanship.
