This year the sophomore class elected Edward Becker, president, Bill Koenig, vice-presidentg Connie Green, secre tary, and Jeffrey Lieberman, treasurer to serve in this impor tant second year of high school. Under the direction of Mr. Derrickson, our adviser, the sophomores put out the BUZZ BOOK and made contributions to THE WHITFIELDER. New additions to our class were Judy Warden from Villa Duchesne, Kim Love from Mary Institute, Howard Stephens from Ashville, Jim Rothbarth from East Ladue Junior High School, and Raymond Laidet from Parkway. iThe sophomore class of '64 and '65 has had a rich, rewarding, and successful year. l 3 l

This year's junior class distinguished itself in both leadership and responsibility. Bake sales and Curt Engler's efficiency as secretary-treasurer put the class high on the list for contributions made to the United Fund. Dues were collected by Curt Engler throughout the year, and the class was happy to note that Stock Vosburg and Curt Engler now have accounts at Brooks Brothers. The remaining money will go toward the senior gift next year. The class, under the direction of Mrs. O'Brien, conducted many successful advisory periods in prepara- tion for College Boards. Led by Pamela Moulton, as president, Barbara Smith, vice- president: Curt Engler, secretary-treasurer, and Stock Vosburgh,Social Council representative, the class is looking forward to a suc- cessful senior year.

Tennant,J Coe, S. Timmerman, F. Thatcher, J. Freiheit, K. Winston, S. Vollmar. ABSENT: D. Burst, L. Roberts. This year the members of the freshman class decided to elect their officers each semester. The first semester's officers were Christy Ferer, president, Cathy Leschen, vice- presidentg Sandy Moulton, secretaryg and Ricky Tennant, treasurer. The Student Council representative was Linda Fowler, and the representative to the newly formed Social Council was Jim Coe. The old class welcomed newcomers Lila Roberts from Taylor School, Keith Winston from Wydown School, and Scott Timmerman from Nipher Junior High School. The freshman class undertook the worthwhile, and re- warding, project of adopting a child from Korea through the Foster Parents Plan. To raise money for the project the class held bake sales and a paper drive. 32
