The members are elected by the students and serve under the supervision of Mr. Buckingham. The number of representatives from each class is determined by the size of the class, fone representative for every twenty members in a classj. The council meets regularly every month. Again this year Council Capers was presented for the public. The council was in charge of Color Day and Ladies' and Gentlemen's Day. School supplies Were sold by members before school and during the noon hour. Noon hour activities were again carried on for the students. An- other project sponsored by the Council in conjunction with College High is Teens Against Polio , Which raised 5520.32 this year. During the year the Student Council also sponsored a mixer, an open house, College Night, and the Homecoming parade. Page Twenty-Three

Reading several plays, selecting one, trying out, waiting for the selection of the cast to be posted, rehearsirg- Now hear this-rehearsal tonight at 7 :30 . . . . Sorry can't make that movie-rehearsal tonight -, rummaging through attics for tas- selled lampshades and umbrella stands, hunting for costumes-knickers, middy blouses, loud bow ties and a teddy -made us realize that our play, Cheaper by the Dozen , was indeed the thing. The candids at the left show various scenes during rehearsals, and the play itself includ- ing one of father's familiar lineups-this one for fingernail inspection. Two performances were given, one a matinee on December 4, and the other the evening of December 5. The faculty director was Miss Nancy Dupuis assisted by Marilyn Schlawin, a local college senior.
