DL B ll Jeanne Smith, Mr Sents DEBATE The debate team enjoyed a very good season this year The question of current importance was RESOLVED That all direct United States economic aid to individual countries be limited to technical assistance and disaster relief June Nechrony, Elmira Morgan and Jeanne Smith defended the question Helen Mueller and Carol Nechrony debated negatively The team was coached by Mr Sents and Mr Jensen, who has debated for the college team The team traveled to the Annual Invitational Debate Tournament in Janesville and ranked fourth in C division debate They also participated in the district debate contest in Madison and other single debates at various schools Despite the wins and losses, the debaters this year gained something which will help them in all the years to come By this, we see that the 1957 S8 debate season was a success Compliments of Kranke Rexall Drug Store r .
