Mueller, Judy Amborn , gg , ancy aman' arolee Ludtke Carol Saunders B J R d M kinda Hughes, Shirley Ann Ankomeus, ev uns, an y ason, 3 Pat DeLisle, Louise Travis Sidney Stroupe Mar P tt Sierid Wegner, Avril Dewey, Katie Coe , y e , On December 9, 1957, a cast of 18 girls from CHS presented a 3 act play entitled nThe and Fairn written by N Richard Nash The play was skill ted by barol Meyer, a senior at WSC, under the super vision of Miss Forster, Pat DeLisle, a junior CHS, was the assistant director The story took place in an exclus- ive girls' finish ing school in New England The plo centers around a young alumna, Frances Merritt, who returns t teach English and discovers that her teen age ideas abou school have been shattered longer is the school a place spotless morals and ideals. , the head- mistress of and Fran's dearest friend caught in the struggle of trying ave her school and please the trustees Morritt's sister, Patty, is a freshman a school and she dis- covers a plot by some of the senior girls, led by Dru Eldridge, to secretly continue the Vidge. After a postponement of the date because of the flu which seemed to attack the members of the cast, and many other minor difficulties, thea ll school play was finally and successfully presented.
