Row 1: Mr. Jeffrey Lewis, Mr. James Gee, Mr. Charles Bledsoe. Row 2: Mr. Richard Dibble, Mr. David Munro. BOARD OF EDUCATION Graduation approaches, and with this accomplishment conies a bitter-sweet feeling; a paradoxical emotion com- bining nostalgia for the irrevocable past and anticipation for the future. Soon ends the familiar routine of high school and a new phase of your life begins. But whatever the future may be, your past at the VJhitesville Central School will have a definite influence upon your lives. I have had the pleasure of watching the class of 1981 grow from tiny second graders to mature young adults, ready to set out into the world. You have had the oppor- tunity to get an excellent education here at Whitesville. If you have taken advantage of this opportunity, you are sure to have great success in the world that awaits you. I would say to anyone who is concerned about the American school system: the results of the American school system seem to bear out that we haven't done so badly with ourselves as well as with our young people, address by William Keough, former hostage, at a West Point Press Conference. To you, the graduating class of 1981, be proud of the education you have received and be proud to be an American, always remembering American ends in the words, I can. Good luck and best wishes always. David E. Gee Superintendent OFFICE AIDES Mrs. Mary Ann Pritchard District Clerk Mrs. Phyllis Sawyer Principal's Secretary Mrs. Mary Calcote District Treasurer 20
