The jingling school bell echoes in my mind Along with the hollow laughter of younger children left behind. You're the friend I've always had; You stayed close when things got bad. Remember how we couldn't wait to get out of school? And oh, when we got on the high school side, we thought we were cool! Sports and dances, classes too. All of these things I've shared with you. Honesty, truth and respect Are some qualities teachers helped us reflect.

THE CLASS OF 1980 PRESENTS PAST REFLECTIONS THERE ARE PLACES I'LL REMEMBER ALL MY LIFE, THOUGH SOME HAVE CHANGED, SOME FOREVER, NOT FOR BETTER, SOME HAVE GONE AND SOME REMAIN. ALL THESE PLACES HAD THEIR MOMENTS, WITH LOVERS AND FRIENDS I STILL RECALL, SOME ARE DEAD AND SOME ARE LIVING, IN MY LIFE I’VE LOVED THEM ALL. THOUGH I KNOW I’LL NEVER LOSE AFFECTION FOR PEOPLE AND THINGS THAT WENT BEFORE, I KNOW I’LL OFTEN STOP AND THINK ABOUT THEM. All those crazy study halls And we can't forget writing on the bathroom walls. Remember how we studied before a big test And couldn't wait to see who had done best? But those days are almost gone; They're fading away like the words to a song. Soon my friends and I will go our own ways. And in our future days We'll always know which way to turn. Looking back on what we've learned. The days of carefree pleasure. The days we thought would last forever.
