REFLECTIONS Shadows passing through my mind — Things that I have left behind. People, places, happy times — Gone forever, left behind. Would that I could live again. See these places, see these friends. Touch a face, sing a song — Oh, so sadly, these are gone. Left me now with passing seasons. And this is the very reason I've stored with love in my mind People, places, left behind. Youth will pass me, leave me old. But these dreams will be my gold. Lovely places, precious friends — They can always live again. Shadows passing through my mind — Things that I have left behind. Pamela Buetow

We, the ' animals of 1980 , would like to express our deep and sincere appreciation to Mrs. Carole O'Hagan. You have dedicated yourself to our class over the last three years and helped us in many ways. We are all more poised and skilled in speaking, writing and understanding literature because you are a tremendous English teacher. When we have needed someone to confide in, you have always been available and willing to listen. You have been a great advisor because you have always stood beside us when things seemed to be going badly and willingly giv- en up your time to be at our events. Even though our class has had some disagreements, we have always been able to talk to you and solve our problems peacefully. We want you to know that we appreciate everything you have done for us as teacher, advisor and a great friend who has helped us solve any problem that arose. We are all proud and happy to have had you be a part of our lives. Thanks!!! APPRECIATIONS The Class of 1980 would like to express our gratitude to a most deserving person. Miss Susan Hillman. We deeply appreciate the time and effort you have given us as a teacher and as the yearbook advisor. Your spe- cial talent as a math teacher has produced results which will surely help us in future years. The stick- to-it-iveness you have taught us has shown us how much pleasure we can experience when we stay with a problem until we find the answer. Many things we thought were difficult were made easier by your friendly personality. As well as solving mathematical problems, you seemed to have done a nice job of solv- ing problems of life. This yearbook would not have been the same with- out the special attention you have given it. You have helped make it something special for each one of us. Reflections of the good times we have had with you will remain with us for years to come. Thanks for just being you! 5
