We now have teams that play as teams instead of as individuals. We now have teams that consist of friends, not rivals. We now have teams that are competetive, not just a bunch of ball players. Athletics has beoome a major part of our school life. We'll always remember your corny jokes and how we all tried not to laugh but couldn't help it! And We'll all cherish the few smiles you smiled because of something we said or did. Thanks alot, Coach! Miss Hillman, thanks so much for all the time and effort you've given to help us when something was especially hard to understand and we needed extra time. You really cared and gave us confidence to stick things out. You were always here, too, to chaperon any dance, help with any function and advise us. You're a great friend and teacher, Miss Hillman. We'll always remember the log- arthums in trig., the proofs and theorems in Geometry and the literal problems in Algebra. Despite the difficul- ty and often strong dislike for these things, you made them a challenge. We won't ever forget you. Miss Hill- man, or your nutty personality! Don't ever forget us! Thanks again! 3 The Class of 1975 would like to express our appreciation to the five teachers that have been with us throughout our high-school years: Mr. Palmiter Miss Hillman Mr. Copp Mrs. Seely Coach Amphlett thanks for sharing caring putting up with us and being our good friends. 4 Thanks To: BABCOCK THEATER ! If you think you dare not, you don't. If you'd like to win, but you think you can't. It's almost a cinch that you won't. If you think you'll lose, you're lost. Far out in the world we find. Success begins with a fellow's will-- It's all in the state of mind. If you think you're outclassed, you are. You've got to think high to rise. You've got to be sure of yourself before you can ever win a prize. Life's battles don't always go To the swifter or faster man. But sooner or later the man who wins. Is the man who thinks he can. LUDDEN REALTY The 1973-74 Class D regular basketball season ended in a tie between Whitesville and Angelica. Both teams had one loss, each to the oth- er team. A special play-off game on a neutral court was necessary. Whitesville then defeated Angelica 56-32 to become the Class D champions. It was the first time since 1958 that Whitesville had achieved this honor. Whitesville then went on in the sectionals to defeat Greenwood and Canaseraga before losing to Avoca in the semi -finals. Congratulations you guys! You did a great job and we’re all so proud of you. It was a season that will always stand out in our memories when we reminisce our last years at Whitesville. Despite the fact that Angelica progressed to become the Section V Champions, we all still believe the Bluejays were number one. We are also very proud of our coach, Wally Amphlett, who was named the Class D Coach of the Year.
