Dedication As the class of 1974 looks back and remembers, we can think of no one more deserving than Mr. Anthony DeSain for the dedicatee of our yearbook. Mr. DeSain came to Whitesville in the fall of 1967. At this time, he taught Junior High Social Studies. We, the class of 1974, were the first to have him for a 6th grade teacher and we enjoyed every minute of it. In 1969, Mr. DeSain married a Whitesville graduate, Marcia Kear, and continued teaching 6th grade. In 1971, Mr. DeSain enrolled in Buffalo State to get his master’s degree in Learning and Behavior Disabilities. After receiving this degree, it was to our advantage that he chose to return to Whitesville Cen- tral School. Since returning here in 1972, Mr. DeSain has been working with the ESEA II program to help those who need special attention, with emphasis on reading. Also, he has played a very important role in the preparations for the new Media Center which opened in January of this year. This dedication is our way of thanking you, Mr. DeSain, for all your efforts in behalf of Whitesville Central School. We, the class of 1974, especially appreciate everything you have done for us and we hope that this dedication may in some small way repay you for your efforts. 2 Compliments of SHAY'S RED WHITE STORE

There are some things in life you always remember. Like your first day of school, your first date, your first job, your first car, and all the things that happen in between. The class of '74 has chosen Remember When as our theme this year in hopes to take you back with us and show you how we've spent the last 13 years of our lives. One person we want you to remember is Terry Lee Cramer, who attended school here up until his sophomore year, (1971) During the summer of '73, Terry, at the age of 18, was hit and killed by a car while he was walking home.
