DEDICATION FLORENCE CORNELL In 1929, Mrs. Cornell was gradu- ated from the Ceramics College of Alfred University. She began her career in Whitesville as a Music and Art teacher. After five years she went to Valley Stream, Long Island, where she taught for the next two years. She then re- turned to Whitesville, married, and has remained here since. Mrs. Cornell has been an art instructor for a total of 36 years and four months. In a variety of refresher courses, she has attended the colleges at Buffalo State, N. Y. U., Columbia and Syracuse and has taken extension courses at Chautauqua. She has traveled extensively and hopes to tour Europe next Fall after her retirement. Each pupil under Mrs. Cornell's direction has benefited from her insis- tence upon neatness and accuracy. All, regardless of artistic ability, have learn- ed practical skills which will continue to be a great asset. Her ready smile and friendly manner have brought her a host of friends among W.C.S. alumni. To express our appreciation, we, the Senior Class of 1967, dedicate this edition of the WYCENIAN to Mrs. Cor- nell. Thanks To: SHAY'S RED AND WHITE STORE

We, the class of 1967, wish to dedicate this Wycenian to Connie Rae Plaisted who became an alumini in 1965. The following year she stayed with us as part of the school personnel. She remained in this capacity until her tragic accident in 1966 took her from us. Connie’s casual acquaintances will always re- member her cheerful smile and shy manner. The happiness she brought to many of us will never be forgotten. She will live with us always a memory as fresh and alive as she was. CONNIE RAE PLAISTED IN MEMORIAM TOMMY E ISTER We also lovingly dedicate our book to our former classmate, Tommy Eister, who joined us in the first grade. In 1958 as a third grader he met an untimely death. Our memories will linger on, especially do we remember the blonde-haired boy who was always smiling and ready to do things with us.
