Gazing at the picture in the top left-hand corner of this page, many of our readers will be reminded of many happy years spent in this building when it was the nucleus for school life in Whitesville. This building, erected in 1902, was an attempt to unite the small, one-room school houses in the district into a unit which could be more easily directed. The picture at the top right-hand corner of this page shows the same building after an annex had been added in 1926. This too, was a step toward the consolidation of the student body in order that the increasing benefits of education might be more readily available to the pupils. At the bottom of this page is pic- tured the final result of all these organizational plans. In this building are housed, for the first time, all the classes with the facilities necessary for running a modern school. Here at last our team is complete. This team will be developed within the building for thirteen years under the supervision of teachers, advisors, guidance counselors and other administrative officials. When the training program is finished, the team will be ready for the greatest game of all,-----------the game of life.
