SEVENTH GRADE Officers for the year were chosen as follows: President--------Elton Harris Vice President---Larry Pritchard Secretary--------Judy Buchholz Treasurer--------Kenneth Coleman These officers were elected early in the school year. Student Council representatives were Lois Pritchard and Robert Dibble. Bonita Phillips and Franklin Payne were chosen to represent the class in the Athletic Association. We were very fortunate in having Mrs. Beth Green as our advisor. Our Social Studies consisted of the history of New York State. Ag and Homemaking were taken the first semester with Music and Art replacing them in the second part of the year. Our Junior High basketball cheerleaders were Lois Pritchard, Sharon Nye, Vickie Seger, and Judy Buchholz. Robert Dibble, Franklyn Parks, Harvey Stebbins, and Robert McCullogh were the four boys participating in Junior High Basketball. EIGHTH GRADE The officers of our class for 1956-57 were: President--------Paula Nesbit Vice President---Joyce Smith Secretary--------Mary Kear Treasurer--------Brenda Baker As Student Council Representatives for the year we chose Bob Frost and Paula Nesbit. As members of the Athletic Association we elected Joyce Payne and Neil Lewis. Our activities included a dancing party, a skating party on March 15th, and another skating party later in the year. Despite our seeming inactivity aa eighth graders, we are anticipating an active and prosperous Freshman year. Beverly Ordway returned to our school from Andover, Steve Merrick from Portville, and early in November Dahl Flynn was transferred here from Savona Central School. The following pupils had perfect attendance for the first semester: Dick Allen, James Ball, Cheryl Buchholz, Sandy Empson, Judy Grantier, Nancy Hall, Larry Hallett, Carol Lewis, Sharon Lewis, Gary Plaisted and Don Stafford. We contributed to the March of Dimes, participated in packing boxes for overseas as well as the Junior Red Cross contribution, went to Wellsville to take part in the Spelling Contest, and then in March had our annual assembly program. 22 This entire page is sponsored by F.E.LUNN SON LUMBER COMPANY
