SOPHOMORES President--------James Chase Vice President—-Vaughn Buchholz Secretary--------Clara Wright Treasurer--------Eleanor Dodge The Sophomore Class started out the year by electing officers and choosing Mr. Tucker as their advisor. The original number of students was sixteen but the class lost two members in the fall when Ronald White left and Patty Fay moved to Westfield. In November the Sophomores sponsored their annual Sophomore Hop and in February they ordered their class rings, expecting them to arrive their Junior year. As in our Freshman year, we again ventured into the field of dramatics and presented a one-act play, Miss Lonelyheart , as an assembly program and later as a P. T. Their Student Council representatives were Beverly Newton and Robert Loughlin. The Athletic Asso- ciation representatives chosen were Phillip Slack and Sandra Buchholz. Mrs. Carlosh acted as their advisor. Activities during the first year in high school included a spaghetti and pizza party on November I4, and a skating party at Wellsville on March 22.
