We started our sophomore year by electing llrs. Newman as our sponsor. This year we took more interest in sports and in other school activities. The highlight of our sophomore year was our play,Hillbilly Courtship, coached by lisa Louise Moore. This was a great success. As juniors we began to assume some of the responsibilities due us. Under the direction of our sponsor, lllss Chase, our play, Kama Bad A Bunch, was a real hit. Another important event ln our junior year was our trip to The Great Smolq lountalns. At last, our senior year has arrlved, and we realize that this should be our best year.le are looking forward to our playg we have selected s favorite of our class, Here Comes Charlie, we are happily anticipating other special senior activities, especially commencement night. - lo are grateful, indeod, for the many services which our beloved sponsor,l1se Kilgore, has rendered us. l0lll0I'19l of our school days at Whltesburg High School will never leave us lo regret that some of our classmates have left us since we started in school as freslmon, but we are proud to have had their comradship during our school I le d y lerle Ballard CLASS WILL le, the Senior Class of lhitesburg High School being of sound mind and 'memory, and considering the uncertainty of this frall and transitory llfe do therefore, construct, ordain, publish, and declare this to be our last will and testament. Their spirits still linger in class room and hall: Early this year they answered the A. A. F. call. Cooperation has been our greatest asset As shown in our plays, they've been the best yet - 'Hillbilly Courtshlpn and Hama nas A Hunan? The public said every line had a Punch.
