LOG BOOK XVe, the Class of 1959, launched our high school career in September, 1955. As Iircshmen we elected for our chief executives ja1nes Brown, Presidentg Mary XVhaling, Vice Presidentg Carol Aldrich, Secretary, and Tom Clark, Treasurer. The big event of the year was the annual Frosb Frolic. With the help and patience of our faculty advisor, Mr. lloward McCabe, the dance rated as one of the best socials of the year. After returning from an enjoyable summer, it was time to elect our sophomore leaders. Because he had done such a marvelous job the year before, james Brown was re-elected President. To help jim carry out his duties, we elected Agnes Piekielniak, Vice President, joanne Colacicco, Secretary, and Karen Soule, Treasurer. With the wise counsel of our advisor, Mrs. Mae Fulmer, we made our Soph Hop another huge success. Our junior Year! Here already? We once again chose james Brown as President. Agnes Piekiel- niak was chosen Vice President and judy Nowak was Secretary. Because of his ability as a leader, the faculty appointed john Field as Treasurer. We were known as the Pioneers of the standard class ring which is now worn by everyone. Of course, the junior Prom highlighted the year. Bill Bouck and Karen Christensen served as Chairmen. Chip Bliss and Kathie Bord headed the Art Committee. Mr. lixton and Mr. Thompson assisted us. Finally on May 2, 1958, after many hours of preparation we transformed our gym into a truly llxchantcd Sea. At last we reached our goal, our Senior year. In the fall Ginger was presented as our Senior Play. XVe found ourselves engulfed in Christmas cards, magazines and coke dances to finance our Yearbook and Senior Ball. But now it's almost over, with only one big occasion remaining - our graduation. As we leave our Alma Mater, we have many pleasant and exciting memories for future reminisccncc. it i Ii191l
