A L M A M AT E R Hail to thee! O Sons of Whitesboro, Through the four long years of High School We have a trust to keep, ,Midst the scenes we love so Well, The love of Whitesboro High School We have struggled on and upward And her high ideals to seek, Till we've reached the goal ideal, Loyalty is for the blue, Whitesboro High, we'll ne'er forget you, And the white means honor bright, You have always loomed so bright, So We'll all stand true forever And we'll all stand true forever To the Royal Blue and White. To the Royal Blue and White. When we're launched on Life's great journey, And we come to toil and care, We will think of dear old Whitesboro And the moral we've learned there, Weill uphold her fine ideals, And We'll represent the right- Be right, he square, be true, be fair To the Royal Blue and White.

DEDICATIO, English teacher, class advisor, student counselor . . . these are some of the many capacities in which we know her. Her friendly interest in us, both as individuals and as a class, and her staunch support in our undertakings give her a very special place in our final school year. With her tinkling bell and dislike of spearmint gum, she is intimately connected with our senior class memories. Therefore, we, the senior class of 1944, dedicate this annual to Miss Sophie Berryman in affectionate appreciation for her friendship and guidance. I944 page three
