H,77ZpdI2 IIS co12sfa121'Q canof upon fo creafe 5113 own fqzfure ' ' The theme of the 1971 Indian Pathways is Man is constantly called upon to create his own future. The future each of us will enter is created by the incidents which we encounter daily. As junior high students, we see our futures being built on school happenings, home activities, and social events. Each action we perform is in- fluenced by our environment and the circumstances which surround us. Our individual futures, in turn, are influenced by seemingly minute and meaningless bits of our daily lives. Our future is inevitably affected by the knowledge we decide to make our own through the classes we attend daily and also by our friends. Theconclusion is obvious: our futures depend on us alone, and we are constantly called upon to create them.
