CSfl10QI2f Gouncz' Sqcbbe af Student Council sponsors many dances throughout the school year. The Whiteman Student Council is responsible for many activities that occur throughout the year. Its main function is the planning and prepara- tion of dances. It also helps advise the principal and assistant principal of certain school needs. Under the sponsorship of Mr. Michel, the Stu- dent Council remains active and alive at WJHS.

School organizations are a part of creating our futures too. We meet others in the classroom, but that is not enough, We begin to interact with people because of the clubs and activities we mutually enjoy, At Whiteman there are many of these activities available to students. Steve Morris types The Rebel, Time terrible tyrant. lt seems every year the newspaper staff finds itself fighting against this terrible monster. Trying to meet deadlines doing artwork, hoping for the mimeo machine to work. All are true obstacles to be overcome. But each year the staff seems to get the job done.
