One Hundred Twenty-eight ,flcfizfifi 5 Perhaps the three Graces, Euphrosyne, Aglaia, and Thalia, preside over our activities as They did over the social life of the Greek gods. Our activ- ities, ranging from sock-hops to assemblies, help teach us graciousness toward one another, which was the very thing these goddesses strove for by offering kindness, entertainment, courtesy, and friendship to the immortal beings on Mount Olympus.
